Your location should not be a mystery

CityPointz requests your device location when you choose to find nearby places or attempt a check-in. The current alpha saves the coordinates and accuracy associated with a successful check-in so distance can be verified and abuse can be investigated.

What is stored

Your account details, earned XP and Pointz, selected place, check-in time, check-in coordinates, GPS accuracy, and calculated distance may be stored.

What is not intended

CityPointz is not designed to continuously follow your device in the background. Private homes should not be submitted as public locations.

This is a practical alpha privacy summary, not the final public Privacy Policy. A fuller policy and account controls are required before broad public release.
