How CityPointz works

Explore real places, check in with your phone, and build your XP and Pointz.

1. Find places

CityPointz asks for your location only after you tap the nearby-place button. It does not need to track you continuously.

Select the real business, park, museum, beach, shop, or attraction you are visiting. Private homes are not CityPoints.

The app compares your phone location with the selected place. Larger places can have a wider check-in area than small shops.

Successful check-ins award XP and Pointz. Badges and city, state, and USA leaderboards are planned as the alpha grows.

Alpha notice: Features, rewards, accounts, and test data may change or reset. Do not use CityPointz while driving.
